Shank adapters (striking bars) are engineered to efficiently transmit impact and rotation power from the rock drill piston to the drill stems. Depending on your drilling environment, Bloom offers both male and female threaded shank adapters.

• Male Shank Adapters: Our most popular configuration, ideally suited for drifting, tunneling, and extension applications where extreme bending stresses and high impact loads are present.

• Female Shank Adapters: Specifically designed for confined spaces or limited drilling clearances where overall drill string length must be minimized.

Manufactured from top-quality alloy steels, our shank adapters undergo precise CNC machining and advanced heat treatment (full-face carburization). This guarantees exceptional fatigue strength, robust thread wear resistance, and maximum reliability under the toughest drilling conditions.
